MAY 24 // 7pm
Circuit bending is the creative, chance-based customization of the circuits within electronic devices such as battery-powered guitar effects, children's toys, and digital synthesizers to create new musical or visual instruments and sound generators.
This workshop will explore existing sound circuits, while participants try their hand at soldering and wiring after a tutorial. There will also be a discussion about circuit design and redesign. Participants will experiment with circuit bending and be shown ways to implement and apply the instruments of modified circuits in a live performance.
