We accept applications for one-week, two-week- and month-long residencies. Residencies include living accommodations,* opportunities to lead several workshops and public demos/talks, lead discussions, and/or create a public art piece. Residents will have available work space and are expected to create work to fill a pop up display in KLEUR or other gallery/shop location. Visit our COLLABORATION page to be taken to the application.

JANUARY 2016 - Grace Engel (PHLOX) from Asheville / 4 weeks / WORKSHOPS: Emotional Recovery Through Art-Making, Feminist Embroidery, Contour Drawing. / PROJECTS: Created a vast body of painted portraits of local women, with interviews, embroidery project/collaboration with The Wherehouse Art Hotel, started ongoing writing/painting collaboration project with local area artist, Ryan Ashley Anderson.
