ZINE-MAKING WORKSHOP with Tristan Miller

A zine ( an abbreviation of fanzine or magazine) is most commonly a small circulation self-published work of original or appropriated texts and images usually reproduced via photocopier and other methods.

Join NC artist Tristin Miller at KLEUR on September 24th to explore how to use found materials, daily writings, original drawings, and collaging to design your own zine. Cultivate ideas for layout, material, and language in the small group workshop setting, and get inspiration from both Tristin's collection of her own zine work, as well as zines across generations and movements. Examples of different styles and methods of zine-making will be on site for your perusal, and participants will be able to get started in creating their own issue.

$20 // All materials will be provided. Fee covers cost of materials and instruction.
