In this extended, four-hour workshop Participants will receive a blank hand-bound sketchbook (made by Greensboro's Gerald Ward of The Bibliopathologist) and will work with our resident artist Tristin Miller through a series of activities, discussions, and prompts centered around learning to think outside the box when it comes to using a sketchbook.
Spend the afternoon learning to unfetter your brain and develop the habit of using your blank book every day. Through a series of drawing exercises and playful exploration of materials, participants will spend the hours of this workshop learning about how Tristin Miller gets herself into the daily practice of putting her thoughts and ideas down on paper, and then put their knew knowledge to action! -- whether you feel you're a talented visual artist or not
There will be a break for snacks halfway through the workshop.
